Vindicated! And Then Some

Remember way back, when I discovered that my car had an intermittent delay control for my wipers? And my husband made fun of me because I had the car for over six years before discovering this? AND ALL CARS HAVE THAT ANYWAY???

Remember that?

Well, guess what? My new Honda Fit doesn’t have this ability.

Nope.

There is no dial to control the delay speed on the wipers. Nada. Just not there, my friends…HA! Take that!

It feels so good, I have to say it again… HA! HA! HA!

“All cars have that” my ass.

However, in lieu of there being a delay control on the end of my wiper thingamajiggy thingy, there is a control for the rear windshield wiper. Yes, you read that correctly, rear-windshield-wiper. How in the world did I get to be so lucky?

And guess what else? It rained today! So, there I was, driving along in the rain, controlling my rear windshield wiper.

Be still my heart!

I swear I have no idea how to use the rear window wiper and I've had my car for 3 years.

Jenny, I love you!!! It's always nice to know you are not alone in the world! And, to be in your company is an honor!

Sure it has an intermittent wiper. You control it by turning the wiper on and off at intervals.

I'm surprised that the front wipers dont have it. Hmm...

But it is nice to have that vindication!

I can never remember which dial in my car turns on the rear windshield wipers, so you're one step ahead of me!

OOOOOoooo pretty! How do you like it? Good gas mileage? I love little cars. My husband hates them. My Focus, which is functional, is not my favorite car ever, however... I reserve that honor for my 1988 Volvo 240. I kind of wish I had it back, but the gas mileage was pretty awful (but better than the Explorer I had before it!).

I am with you, I would totally be excited with having wipers on the front & back.

I think I might love you. We may just be soul mates. I use the rear wiper all the time on my van and it drives husband nuts because "you only need it for backing up." Whatever!

I accidentally turned my rear wiper on and, for the life of me, could NOT figure out how to turn it off! The Princess had to show me! (She's 8!)

Of course, I am the woman who drove around with her brights on for almost a month!

a picture does not do justice to that sweet ride, the color is more of a pale caribbean blue shimmer;)
